Back in the early ‘80’s there was a Mexican restaurant called Casa Lupita in Beaverton, Oregon. They had a delicious coffee drink concoction called Minorchio Coffee. This drink was potent, deadly…could this coffee be considered the perfect beverage? Absolutely yes!! This coffee drink is perfect for the fall, winter and holiday seasons. It will definitely warm the cockles of your heart. Now, enjoy one and, only if you dare, go for two!

Absolutely yes!!  This coffee drink is perfect for the fall, winter and holiday seasons.  It will definitely warm the cockles of your heart.  Now, enjoy one and, only if you dare, go for two!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tablespoon Don Q 151 Rum

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Amaretto

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Kahlua

  • Hot Coffee, freshly brewed

  • Sweetened Whipped Cream

  • Optional: Kahlua Drizzle

Directions

  • Brew fresh coffee.
  • Pour the 151 Rum, Amaretto and Kahlua into a warmed heat resistant mug.
  • Pour in the hot coffee.
  • Top with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream.
  • Optional: Drizzle a little Kahlua over the whipped cream.
