This recipe has deep chocolate flavor, velvety smooth texture in the mouth, and is a delicious low carb keto-friendly dessert that has low net carbs, no added sugar, and rich in healthy fats. Now we call this a scrumptious trifecta!

Ingredients
2 cups almond milk
1 1/4 cups allulose
6 egg yolks
1/3 cup cocoa powder, Ghirardelli Dutch Processed or Hershey’s Dark
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, mix the almond milk and allulose; whisk in the egg yolks.

- Place the saucepan over medium-low heat and cook to 170°F.

- Remove from heat and sift cocoa powder over the custard base and whisk into the custard until smooth.
- Add in the whipping cream and vanilla extract then strain to remove any egg solids and cocoa that did not dissolve.

- Place in a container and store in refrigerator overnight to chill.
- Transfer mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufacturer’s instructions.

One 1/2 cup serving has approximately 230 calories, 22gm fat, 3gm carbohydrates, 2gm protein, and 2gm net carbs.
